چکیده
Soybean Fusarium wilt and root rot disease caused by a necrotrophic ascomycete pathogen, F. oxysporum, triggered severe damage to the plant tissues organs impacted heavy losses. Biocontrol agents, Bacillus subtilis, were commonly used produce broad spectrum of antifungal substances gradually in biocontrol studies for management. Investigation determination inhibiting mechanism substance produced B. subtilis on oxysporum should be done protect soybean plant. This study revealed that basal nutrient broth (NB) gives best activity. The stationary phase bacterial growth curve was obtained two days cultivation showed maximum activity against oxysporum. Ethyl acetate (EA) extraction supernatant generated crude EA extract, which half inhibition (IC50) at 306.42 µg/ml from dose-response regression curve. Post-treatment mycelia with extract demonstrated as hyphal deformation followed malondialdehyde (MDA) accumulation. Furthermore, cellular leakage fungal cells may compounds strain W3.15 occurred. Last, related predicted epicatechin benzophenone LC-MS/MS analysis extract. Accordingly, agent promises strong potency biofungicide development.

Anti-Staphylococcal and Antifungal Substances Produced By Endospore-Forming Bacilli
Some bacteria and fungi are related to deterioration and also transmission of foodborne diseases, emphasizing the need to search new substances that may act in the treatment and prevention of the illnesses transmitted by food. Strains from genus Bacillus produce a variety of substances with inhibitory activity that range from antibiotics to bacteriocins. In this work, three strains, identified ...
متن کاملAntifungal Activity of (KW)n or (RW)n Peptide against Fusarium solani and Fusarium oxysporum
The presence of lysine (Lys) or arginine (Arg) and tryptophan (Trp) are important for the antimicrobial effects of cationic peptides. Therefore, we designed and synthesized a series of antimicrobial peptides with various numbers of Lys (or Arg) and Trp repeats [(KW and RW)(n)-NH(2), where n equals 2, 3, 4, or 5]. Antifungal activities of these peptides increased with chain length. Light microsc...
متن کاملContamination of Bananas with Beauvericin and Fusaric Acid Produced by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense
BACKGROUND Fusarium wilt, caused by the fungal pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense (Foc), is one of the most destructive diseases of banana. Toxins produced by Foc have been proposed to play an important role during the pathogenic process. The objectives of this study were to investigate the contamination of banana with toxins produced by Foc, and to elucidate their role in pathogenesis....

Bacillus subtilis strain BIA was used for the production of bioactive lipopeptides. Different extraction and purification methods were assayed as liquid-liquid extraction, and acid and ammonium sulfate precipitation followed by TLC, SPE, and gel filtration. Active fractions were further purified using RP-HPLC. The molecular mass of the purified product from HPLC was determined through Tris-Tric...
